One of the best things I ever did about 7 or 8 years ago was to do a 30 day challenge where I spent 30 days doing a sculpt every day. I limited myself to 15 to 30 minutes for each sculpt to get over the “I don’t have time” excuse and to force myself to focus on the larger details before moving on to the finer details. The turtle in this image was one of those sculpts and is one of my favorite from that month. When I did the lighting and texturing course around the time of the 2.80 alpha, I did a light match exercise with the sculpt. The result is a much more interesting picture than the one I had back when I had created it. This turtle was also my first attempt at getting a model 3D printed.
