Shortly after Blender 2.8 began alpha production, CG Cookie did a texturing class. We were encouraged to use the new alpha because of the new rendering engine, Eevee. I took a model of a VW Beetle I found on BlendSwap and used it for this exercise. The striping was done procedurally (both on the car and on the road). The number 53 I made using Krita. I kept wanting to make him a blue color, but all the references showed him as a cream yellow, so that was the color I went with.
