I’m a CG artist, using Blender to create most of my work. My work varies from abstracts that were experiments with Blender’s features, to low poly images, to digital sculpts, and more recently, using Grease pencil for 2D style drawing.
Creating abstract art is a great way to practice using different features in Blender.
Drawing is a skill I’ve been working on the last couple of years, and I think I’m getting better at it.
Sometimes, I do sculpts or scenes from modelling, or even do an animation.
“If you’re trying to learn to create art, give yourself permission to experiment. Even if you fail, you’re learning something, and in figuring out how to fix something you messed up, you learn things that might not have otherwise learned.”
